The Apostolic Reformation & the Five Fold Ministry
Apostolic - an adjective: of or characteristic of an apostle.
Reformation - the act of forming anew; a second forming in order; as in reformation of a column of troops into a hollow square. 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 says that we do not war against flesh and blood and that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds. The word "war" in the Greek refers to the "apostulate" which means "the office of apostle." The word "warfare" in Greek is the root of the word used for "strategy." The apostolic reformation deals with the body of Christ being reformed as the army of the Lord. In this series we will take a look at the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher as well as the Romans 12 gifts and the 1 Corinthians 12 gifts and how God is using them today to equip the Church to minister in the 7 spheres of society.
