What's it Like in the Day for an Orphan?

I asked Dr. Kawl what his dream and hope for their children.  He said, "Our dream and hope for the orphans is to build them up to become God fearing men and women who are fervently involved in the kingdom work and live victoriously in their relationship with God."

When I asked him what a day like was in the life of these beautiful children he sent these pictures for us.

Flooding & the Children

We just received this email from Dr. Kawl.  We invite you to pray and par

Dear Apostle Tim,

I hope that you are good and blessed.

Nowadays, Myanmar is facing terrible flood in all parts of the country. Many people died, many people flee to safe place without taking any of their belongings. My heart is broken to see and hear that children are the most victims who died in the flood. I wish I could be a help to them.

Before yesterday, heavy rain caused a terrible flood in my location, deep water flow inside the orphans' home. We immediately shift things to the upstair and move all the orphans to our home as that is safe place. This morning the water is decreased and the orphans can stay at their orphans' home now. We thank God for safety. I worried the orphans might be effected with water disease as water is badly polluted.

The orphans' and my family have a real bad health condition nowadays, I oftenly go to doctor for my eye medication, and I used to bring orphans and my born children to clinic like everyday. We are in a real tough time as we do not have proper donors.

Sometimes we work outside with our orphans like painting, carrying stones, spreading sand and cleaning etc., and some street men help us on the work. I strongly believe that you are praying for feeding the hungry orphans. I send you love and greetings from Adonai orphans.

Sincerely,
Kawl

Pure Religion & Orphans

James 1:27
Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

Falling in love with Jesus makes us want to do what pleases Him.  We serve and give out of love rather than out of rules and regulations.  Let’s look at what makes a Bride pleasing to her groom.

Doing what pleases the Groom in this case Jesus Christ certainly must rank highly on the list.  Christ has a slightly different criteria of beauty than we mortals do.  It is the beauty of pure heart and living rightly before God and man that he finds beautiful.  What makes us please Him?  Faith is number one followed by obedience for without faith it is impossible to please God combined with obedience to His Word.

Another important thing Christ asked us to do was to take care of widow and orphans as this pleases God. The Bible reveals God’s attitude toward orphans and widows: He cares very deeply for them. God commands us to protect and care for orphans and widows (Psalm 82:3).

The Bible tells us that God Himself steps in to fill the role of protecting and caring for orphans and widows. “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling” (Psalm 68:5).

In our world, those who are helpless tend to be taken advantage of by those who think they can get away with it. However, nothing escapes God’s notice, and He will avenge the orphans and widows. “You, LORD, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, so that mere earthly mortals will never again strike terror” (Psalm 10:17–18).

We are Christ’s hands and feet and a physical source of His love, in other words, we are Jesus with skin on.  This gives us a huge responsibility to represent Him as good ambassadors of His Kingdom, so what to do?
