City Manager says, "what we see are answers to prayer, not just serendipitous acts"
We just received a report from Steve Buss' One Hope team in Lane County Oregon. Here's an excerpt from their report of 1Church1Day. They now have 42 churches praying every month and the Eugene City Manager said "what we see are answers to prayer, not just serendipitous acts." We just received this report from One Hope in Lane County Oregon. They launched the 1Church1Day strategy in May 2015. Last time I spoke with the director of One Hope, Steve Buss, I recall they now have over 40 churches praying each month and they are working with 10 councils from the 7 spheres of society.
Last year their council decided to focus the unemployment rate. They shared about a dramatic increase in their one year report in which they saw the unemployment rate decline from 5.9% to 5.1% in just one year. Now they've just reported a new low of 4.4%. It's the lowest in 27 years.
It's awesome to see the Church serve their community through prayer as God's abiding presence blesses everyone. Click here if you would like to see One Hope's Report for April 2017 which included the article referenced here.
