Why is this important? It is because princples, foundational principles, vision, missions and values all impact the decisions that people and organizations make. These all factor into the actions they take and the advice they give. I submit the information I'm about to provide is important for every believer and it will help you discern the source and who we are really dealing with.
This global shaking should come as no surprise. We were warned in Hebrews 12:26 that God's voice would shake the heavens and the earth. In Revelation 9:20-21 we discover that plagues were used to call people to repent of their idolatry, murders, sexual immorality, sorceries (pharmakia = drugs), and thefts.
Jesus told us in Luke 6 how to build our foundation on the rock so we would not be shaken. In verse 47 He reveals the key to that rock solid foundation. That foundation is built upon the Word of God, the truth, that is believed and acted upon. Our foundation is established on the portion of God's word we believe which is revealed through what we actually do.
I base my foundation on the truth which is found in God's word. That's what I use to compare every word, principle, value, decision and action to. So once again I'll say WHO is behind the healthcare guidance the nation's leaders are getting? It's the World Health Organization. It is wise to take a look at their founding principles, vision, goals, values. It's wiser still to look at what they actually do by looking at their projects and directives. With this in mind, let's explore.
The World Health Organization
WHO is an arm of the United Nations and received it's charter in 1948 and was the first to charter the concept of healthcare as a right. Therefore they introduced Universal Healthcare. Click here for more information about their idea of Universal Healthcare.
Rights are to be enforced by civil government. In the United States, for example, our Consitution describes what the civil government can and is supposed to do. The Bill of Rights lists God given rights which government is forbidden to interfere with. So here is my question. Why do we not find healthcare in the Bill of Rights? It's because that is a new concept chartered by WHO in 1948 which happens to be an arm of the United Nations. So, let's take a look at the UN's origin, vision, missions, values, projects and actions.
