Churches Slow to Reopen?  I'm Fired Up!

Here we are on the cusp of a historic Pentecost and I just read an article about pastors delaying their openings on ChurchLeaders.com.  Churches Are Essential, So Let’s Not Rush to Reopen, Pastors Reason!

I absolutely marvel at what this reveals about the condition of the Church and what our seminaries and bible colleges have produced.  The lack of understanding of fundamental principles and truths is infuriating.

Understand, I sincerely believe it is right for each leadership team to decide what's right for them and their congregation.  But I am angered by the reasoning I see and the amount of scripture that is ignored.

At the same time I am incredibly excited and encouraged that we are priviledged to live during this historic time on this particular Pentecost.  I submit to you my friends that the stage is set for a Davidic generation to arise and arising it is.  Click here for Tim's Fired Up Over Church Leaders Response to Reopening Churches.

How to Have Church in Your Home!

5/26/2020

Picture
By Tim Taylor, May 26, 2020 - In the midst of this global pandemic church buildings around the world have been shut down.  Many ask, is this the devil or is this God and I submit to you, the answer is yes!  Both are at work, but God has an amazing way of making all things work together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

I want to draw your attention to an aspect of what I believe Christ is doing during this mess.  Church buildings have been shut down along with several other idolatrous activities which the American public had long worshipped.  Our sports teams, movie theatres, casinos, bars, stores in which some practiced "retail therapy" and a host of other activities which we used to "entertain ourselves" have been shut down.  That includes church. Many are not able to "go to church."

I say many, but not everyone.  Why?  It's because there was a remnant who did not go to be entertained.  They went to worship our Lord, pray, equip others and get equipped to serve our Father's purpose.

Go to Church?
Did you know that you cannot find the phrase "go to church" in the scripture (NKJV or KJV).  No wait just one minute.  Don't jump ahead of me.  I'm not discouraging the church assembling together like the scripture says we should do.  What I am hammering on is an attitude prevalent in much of the Western Church wherein we "go to church" to be entertained just like we go to a sporting event or a movie.  We would never say that, but our actions scream it.  We watch, but do not participate or we participate very little and we critique the sermon or the worship team like we would a football game or a movie.

Understand, we were not called to go to church but rather to be the Church.  You know, the Church Jesus referred to when He said, "I will build My Church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it." (Matthew 16:18)

The word translated “church” comes from the Greek word ekklessia which according to Strong's Concordance means "the called-out ones."  It references members of a Christian community.   Do you know where the early Church met?  They met in homes, from house to house.

Calling the Church Up and Out
I think Satan is trying to shut the Church down whereas God is calling the Church up and out!  He is calling us up to the standard of a disciple described in His word and He is calling us out of our comfort zone which is outside the four walls of a church building.  He is calling us out of our comfort zone and into the kingdom zone.

The kingdom zone is where believers choose to act like Jesus.  It is where they decide to rule, and reign and that rulership begins in their own heart first and then extends to their family and in their home.  That is their domain.  They can choose to make it the King of King's domain if they choose to apply God’s word, pray and obey His leading and guidance.

What Does Memorial Day & the Christian Have in Common?

PictureClick image for History.com's Memorial Day
By Tim Taylor, May 24, 2020 - Tomorrow, in America, we celebrate Memorial Day.  It is a day we remember those who gave their lives for our freedom.  To learn more visit History.com's Memorial Day.  Its origin dates all the way back to the Civil War.  According to PBS over 303,000 were buried in national cemeteries.  One the major reasons for this war was to "set the captives free."

As I contemplated this morning the Lord spoke to me about our, the Christian's, Memorial Day.  Did you know that heaven watches for your Memorial Day?  I'll explain but first let's celebrate this Memorial Day by remembering.

1 Peter 2:17 says, "Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king."  It is right that we remember the sacrifices of those who defend our freedom.  I saw a meme a few years ago that said this.  "Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you.  Jesus Christ and the American fighting soldier.  One died for your soul and the other died for your freedom."

So, to all of our veterans who've lost members of their unit who were like family, and to the families of all those who've lost loved ones we thank you for your sacrifice.  Many of us in this nation are still truly very grateful.  It is my sincerest prayer and hope that the generation that follows will correct the mis-steps of our nation in recent decades and once again return this nation to God so that it fulfills its role and uses its freedom and liberty to serve as a beacon of hope and that the Church in this nation would use their liberty to proclaim the gospel of the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Heaven Watches for Your Memorial Day

By Tim Taylor May 22, 20202 - President Trump just declared that churches are "essential services" and that governors need to do the right thing and allow these very important essential places of faith to open right now.  For this  weekend!  If they won't act then President Trump will override the govenors.  In America, we need more prayer not less.

The president just declared a decree.  I submit that also reflects the Word of the Lord and our Father's heart.  Therefore with that in mind:

The Fear with this Pandemic is Being Used like the Philistines Used Goliath

5/21/2020

By Tim Taylor, May 21, 2020 - As I was praying and contemplating this pandemic and considering the fear that has gripped most of the Church I heard, 1 Samuel 17:26...For who is this uncircumcised Philistine....  That's what David said of Goliath who's threats had paralyzed all of Israel with fear.

Immediately, I heard it not as a question but rather a statement.  WHO, is this uncircumcised Philistine!

W.H.O. the World Health Organization's role in this current pandemic came to mind. At the start, they became the voice of this pandemic. There are people who are using WHO just like the Philistines used Goliath to incite fear so they could control Israel.  This virus is an instrument of fear being used just like the descendent of the Nephilim, Goliath, was being used by the Philistine government.  It's about using fear to control a population.

But this situation turned out to be the very scenario which set the stage for the real king to come forth.  The one who had the heart of our heavenly Father and whose heart God had.  I think the stage has been set for a people to emerge who carry the heart of the Father just like King David did.  We are about to see the army of the Lord emerge in great power.  It reminds of Joel 2:2-3 which says:

A people come, great and strong,
The like of whom has never been;
Nor will there ever be any such after them,
Even for many successive generations.
A fire devours before them,
And behind them a flame burns;

That fire is the love of God.  It's the fire that purfies the hearts of men and sanctifies their motives.  It's like the fire that fell on Pentecost in Acts 2.  There is a people coming forth like whom the world has never seen.

I learned in the Navy War College why armies exist.  They exist to project power to enforce the will of the government they represent.  Jesus taught us to pray, Lord, let your kingdom come and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. This army, the Lord' army will burn with a passion for His presence and will be captured by God's love for the lost.

The enemy of our souls, Satan, has captured the minds of many through a false governmental philosophy which has sought to use this giant pandemic to advance their cause through the use of hyper-fear. Ultimately, their goal is control. They can only fulfill that desire if God's people are either destroyed or paralyzed with fear just like the nation of Israel was when Goliath stood unopposed by a David.

Lord, where is the Davidic Generation?
How should we respond?  I submit just like David did.  He starts with question in 1 Samuel 17:26, "Is there not a cause?"  David was referring to the word, the history of what God had spoken.  He took the word and then he acted by meeting the threat head on with the word, his words, saying "your servant has killed both the lion and this bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God."  David went on to describe how God would deliver him.  Then David put his faith into action and ran and met the threat.

Dealing with this threat requires the truth be proclaimed followed by actions based on the love of God and informed by His wisdom.  David sets the example illustrating that defeating the Goliath of his day began by proclaiming the truth.  So that is where we will start.

Pre-Prayer the Way of our Lord - Pentecost 2020

5/19/2020

Picture
We've just experienced a historic Passover and I'm expecting a historic Pentecost!  Isaiah 40:3 resounds in my heart.

The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
“Prepare the way of the Lord;
Make straight in the desert
A highway for our God.

Prepare sounds like "pre-prayer" the way of the Lord to me.  This historic time we live in has created a scenario wherein I believe the cresendo of prayer around the world is reaching its peak.

What do I mean by historic?  Not since the first Passover was Israel sequestered in their homes on Passover.  In this current Passover,  almost the whole world joined them.   Historically, revival always occured in large meetings.  Never before has their been a personal revival on this scale that began in the prayer closet like this.  I dare say the cresendo of prayer is peaking around the globe.

Jesus said, in Acts 1:8, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”  Then they all continued in prayer in one accord (vs. 14).  In Acts 2:2-4 we find, "And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

Acts 2:5 says, "And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven."

Today, there are devout men and women in every nation around the globe seeking the Lord. While I don't know exactly what this will look like on this day, I believe it will mark the begining of a billion soul harvest as the prophets have said.

By Tim Taylor & Charlene Allen - Charlene is an apostle who has become like a daughter in the Lord to us.  She had a prophetic word which she submitted (1 Corinthians 14:29) to be judged.  I/we have and determined this is the word of the Lord.  It's from the Father's heart and expressed His love (Hebrews 12:6) as a Father does.

Charlene emailed this prophetic word.  After her word I'll share with you what the Lord showed us about "EXPOSED!"

May 16, 2020 - The word for today was “Expose,” and the fullness of the message could not be written in the Daily Word (see above).  I will capture a fuller message so I can remember…

Developing Apostolic Resource Centers -Session 8 of 8

by Tim Taylor - May 12, 2020 - Carl Vanderpal of Prophetic Communities in Austrailia has asked me to train churches, five-fold ministers and prophetic intercessors near Brisbane Australia.

Session 8 is titled:  Hitting the Mark
The root word for sin in the Old Testament also means "to miss the mark."  There is also a Hebrew word for "hitting the mark" and it is often translated to intercede or intercession like in Isaiah 53:11-12 where it says:

He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.  Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,  Because He poured out His soul unto death,
And He was numbered with the transgressors,  And He bore the sin of many,
And made intercession for the transgressors.

We will cover:
  • The primary purpose of money, the altar and the 6 common characteristics of communities that establish ARCs
  • Signs of the times
  • Mockers, scoffers and Christian's who lend their lips to our adversary
  • What if they accuse you of being part of the "NEW" Apostolic Reformation (NAR)?  Here's the "NAR"ly truth!
  • Final questions & answers

We are Inviting You to Session 8 of 8 at:

A Mother's Tears - When Color Does Not Matter!

5/8/2020

PictureAp. Charlene on one of our mission trips to India!
By Apostle Charlene Allen, Wisdom MInistries International, May 8, 2020 - Charlene was on our Call to Pray for our Nation yesterday when we first heard of the murder of Ahmaud Arbery.  As she was prayed an anointing came upon her and I asked her if she'd write something for us to inspire and challenge the Church to pray and act.  She poured out her heart through her pen saying:

How memories, for some, are realities for others…

Some remember how America fought for Independence while others live with the realities of their struggles for independence.

Some remember how America had a Civil War while others live with the realities of their struggles in a civil war.

Some remember how America fought for Segregation while others live with the realities of their struggles with segregation.

The dogs biting at the feet of one running from a slave owner or a water hose sprayed on a child sitting on a curb outside a store with a sign that read “For Whites Only” has been replaced by bullets tearing the heart out of youth or “responsible citizens” beating a boy for riding a bike or running a marathon because the upright citizen was protecting their neighborhood from a “thief”.

The thought that one mother can be proud of her son buying a new care because he worked and earned it brings fear to another mother whose son buys a new car because he will be stopped for being in a stolen vehicle or “popped” because there is no way this vehicle could ever belong to someone who looks like you.

Why does skin tone or gender determine the worth of a child?

Why does the color of skin automatically place a person in a political party or economic class?

How can a rip in one child’s jeans mean poverty, while for another child, a rip means wealth and prestige?

Why must a mother of one son fear her child riding across America alone while another mother’s son can be excited about the adventure he will have?

Humility

PictureBy Dr. John Roddam
By Dr. John Roddam of Pleroma International May 7, 2020 -   John has been a great friend for more than 18 years.  I wanted to share this great article.  If you'd like to contact my friend visit his ministry Pleroma International by clicking here.

I have never heard a sermon on Humility. This is a Biblical topic that is little understood and even less practiced. In a culture of “rights and privileges” the idea of humility runs counter to the broader community and within much of the Church. The newly-elected Pope (Francis 1), known for his humility, is quietly causing a significant upheaval in the Vatican.

Why is humility, one of the main character traits of Jesus Christ, such a revolutionary concept? The self-emptying, intrinsic to humility is core to the Kingdom of God – living into the reign of Jesus as Lord of our lives! We are called to become like Jesus –

He who says he abides in Him (Jesus) ought himself also to walk just as He walked. (1 John 2:6 NKJV)

Jesus encourages His followers to:

… learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart… (Matthew 11: 29)

Jesus reflected humility in his life and ministry –

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. (Philippians 2:8)

Jesus gave up certain rights, privileges, and divine characteristics in order to “be found in appearance as a man.” This self-emptying is an expression of humbling oneself. Jesus further humbled Himself and took the place of a servant, stating:
