I've been teaching about the gospel of the kingdom for a while and it is time for each of us to mature and begin to do God's word. It starts by applying God's word. 1 Corinthians 14:29 says let the prophets speak two or three and let the others judge. Amen. Then let's do it. Judge the word. This is what a kingdom mindset does.
King's decide or make decisions. The scripture also says, Proverbs 25:2 2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
But the honor of kings is to search out a matter.
The first thing we need to decide is this God or not? If it is from the Lord, then we have to ask, "Lord, what do you want us to pray and what do you want us to do within the areas of responsibility You have put within my hand. There are four realms of government. Civil, church, family and individual. Hence, I have to decide what do I need to pray and do in each of these areas, as my work, in my church, in my home and within my soul.
Personally, I believe this is an accurate warning and many of the ministers in KLI have shared prophetic words, dreams and visions they've had to are the same and or compliment this word over the years. I submit this to you for your prayerful consideration.
Note that one with a kingdom mindset does not make decisions based upon uncontrolled fear for God says in 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Sound mind means a disciplined thought life.
The scripture also says:
Proverbs 13:16 Every prudent man acts with knowledge, But a fool lays open his folly.
Faith Works by Love
Galatians 5:6 teaches us that faith works by love so I pray God fill us with His love that our faith might increase.
Part of my call through the years can be summed up by our personal motto, "declare and prepare." I recall a conference we hosted in 2012 titled "Are You Prepared?" It had to do with what we saw coming and the need for the body of Christ to prepare practically and spiritually. Recently FireStorm put together a handout for their congregation. Click here for the PDF Preparing for Hard Times. If you have not taken any action this will give you a place to start.
We've actually foreseen this for a while and we've prepared to not only take care of ourselves but also extra. We wanted to give God something to multiply. My strongest encouragement is to pray and obey. Move out of love and not out of fear.
Recognize and remember, it comes to pass. The most important thing is our Father's will is done on earth as it is in heaven. Part of His will is that you and I would come to reflect the image of His Son. I pray that you and I would respond well like vessels of honor, purified in the fire. Vessels that God might fill up that He might pour out through us.
That means the preparation begins in God's word and in His presence. The practical things we do follow that. That's called faith in action. Ideally, it is combined with God's wisdom too.
Finally, rest assured that God has not forgotten the recipe for manna. He's also the one who multiplied the loaves and fishes. Philippians 4:6-7 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
In 2012 in Prophetic Visions, Warnings and How to Prepare I said,
Matthew 25:1-7
"Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. "And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!' NKJV
Note that the bridegroom comes in the darkest hour. The question is, are you prepared to meet Him? Are you prepared to meet our Lord Jesus, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I don't mean have you prayed the sinners prayer. I mean, do you know Him and does He know you? Do you have an intimate, daily, personal relationship with our Lord? Are you prepared to meet Him, or will He say, "I never knew you?"
We need to be prepared practically AND spiritually. This will be the worst of times and the best of times for some. The Lord has shown me some of the things to come and what He asked us to do. That's why we've formed a Kingdom League, why we are working on the ARC, and why we are offering "Are You Prepared." However, I'd like to encourage you to take the time to hear John Paul Jackson. He is a proven prophetic voice on a national and international level.
Here's John Paul sharing on the same topic I referenced in the article a few years later. Click here for the Coming Perfect Storm.
