This is why I was shocked by what I heard last week.
I heard the Fox News reporter share about the "Holy Fire" south and east of Los Angeles which threatened a communication center and could be a threat to the city.
I was shocked because through Operation Rolling Thunder and my experience with 1Church1Day I've learned about God's sign language. God is speaking LOUD and CLEAR!
HOLY FIRE! It's a sign that should make you wonder/marvel and hopefully repent! It's outside Los Angeles! Los Angeles literally means the angels. That's why people call is the City of Angels.
Now let me tell you what I see and hear. God is sending a holy fire to His Church to prepare a holy dwelling place from which to send His holy messengers with His gospel of the kingdom. Consider the following scriptures.
Isaiah 4:3-6 speaks of how God intends to visit Zion, that's the place of continual prayer, praise and worship with a spirit of judgment and burning. Why? To purify His people and then to be a place of refuge and shelter.
In Isaiah 6:1-8 we find Isaiah sees the Lord in heaven and God sends a seraphim who takes a coal from the altar and touches it to Isaiah's lips. The touch takes away his iniquity and purges his sin. Then Isaiah hears God's voice saying, whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?
What does the sign language mean?
Because of God's touch, Isaiah was prepared to respond with, "here am I, send me."
The seraphim is a heavenly being which means "fiery." Took the coal from the altar and touched Isaiah's lips. Why? Because the messenger's speech must be sanctified and set apart only for the Master's use.
God speaks through types and shadows!
The children of Israel experienced the first three plagues and then after that they were protected.
Have you ever heard what it is like in God's presence. Exodus 19 describes the great cloud that was produced by the fire of the Lord that Moses experienced on Mount Sinai. King David describes in Psalm 18:6-14 the devouring fire that comes from God's mouth for Jeremiah 23:29 says that "is not My word like a fire?"
The word of the Lord is being released through the prayers of the saints. The bowls of intercession that are being poured out.
Revelation 8:4
And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel's hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.
God made one decision!
He decided to deliver Israel. But, what the people experienced depended upon their personal response. They had to decide where they stood.
If they choose to stand with God's people in Goshen, they had one experience. If they choose to stand with the Egyptians, they would have a different experience.
Those who choose to stand with God experienced the first plagues and later they were protected. The first plagues they experienced were part of their purification process where character and motives were tested. It's like it says in Isaiah 4:4, God washed away the filth and purified His people with a spirit of judgment and burning. That purifying fire, God's presence, became their protection.
Isaiah 4:5-6
then the Lord will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a covering. And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain.
God Has Decided
- He would not destroy the earth with a flood in Genesis 9:11. The sign of that covenant is the rainbow!
- He is sending His holy fire to purify His Church and to protect her. Isaiah 4:3-6
- His Son will return. Acts 1:11, Matthew 16:27, 1 Thessalonians 1:10 & 2 Thessalonians 1:10
- Prior to His Son's return God will send mighty angels in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not obey the gospel. 2 Thessalonians 1:8
- There shall be a great end-time harvest of souls. Revelation 14:15
- There would be a remnant, His army who'd build His house of prayer and be His messengers for that harvest. Joel 2-3, Ezekiel 37:1-11, Isaiah 56:7, Acts 15:16-17
God is Calling His People Out of Babylon - the Harlot Church
Revelation 17 & 18 describes Babylon and the harlot church. It became the dwelling place of demons (Revelation 18:2) and the greedy (Revelation 18:3) therefore Revelation 18:4 says "And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues."
God is calling His people out of the harlot church. I believe we are in the time where God's presence is purifying His people. For those who choose to embrace the fire of God's presence the fire will only burn the bonds the devil has used to ensnare them. The fire will only free you from what entangles you if you choose to embrace it like Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego in Daniel 3:22-25.
When King Nebuchadnezzar threw them in the fire, the only thing burned was their bonds. Who was with them? The King said he saw another walking in the fire with them, who looked like the "Son of God (Daniel 3:25)."
Their clothes were not burnt neither was there even the smell of smoke. The only thing the fire actually burnt were the things which bound them.
For those who decide (choose or judge) not to embrace God's presence but to reject His gospel of the kingdom there is only "a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and the fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries." Hebrews 10:27. But for those who choose our Lord.... FREEDOM! PROTECTION & DELIVERANCE.
