Transforming a nation requires the proper or wise application of information which is the key to transformation. Another way to say it is:
Inform-ation + Applic-ation = Transform-ation of a N-ation
I + A = TON
The magnitude of transformation is determined by the amount of information applied wisely.
This is what I call the Transformation Equation.
The revelation is weighty and solving it is what turns Goat Nations into Sheep Nations (Matthew 25:32-33).
What have I observed?
For years the Church at large hosts conferences. We've hosted conferences. We've attended conferences. We've promoted conferences. I like conferences. However, here's the problem I observe.
People attend conference after conference. The goal is often to "train and equip the body of Christ." That is an excellent and noble goal. In my opinion. the majority of people attend the confences and don't understand the formula. Many assume or act like getting the information was the same thing as application. We all know, that's not true.
What's the problem?
As a minister of the gospel, I'm going to put the responsibility back primarily upon the ministers. Those who teach. Why? Because its our job to recognize that providing teaching and training with no outlet leads to frustration. There is no mobilization strategy which moves the student from inform-ation to actual apostolic oper-ation!
Did you catch that? Inform-ation! Oper-ation!
Moving from Information to Apostolically Led & Prophetically Influenced Operations
This is one of the purposes behind the 1Church1Day strategy. It is an apostolic strategy that follows an ancient pattern that King David modeled on MT Zion. It empowers ministers to mobilize their people as the army of the Lord and to utilize Biblical principles to develop effective apostolic/prophetic prayer and action strategies that actually lead to change.
I'm not praying for an end to conferences. Rather, I am praying for ministers to be wiser and to become better stewards of building strategic teamwork so as to enforce our Father's will on earth as it is in heaven.
James 2:20 teaches us that faith without works is dead. That's another way of saying faith without application is dead.
So, are you one of the ones that have confused information with transformation? Then I encourage you to engage with your local church. I'd also invite you to join us in mobilizing the body of Christ and equipping leaders to think, plan and pray like an apostle, admiral or a general.
