There is a basic principle found in God's word which teaches us that if the root is good the fruit is good. We find this concept first introduced in Genesis 1:11 which says it this way and note my underlines. "Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth"; and it was so. If you plant an apple seed you are going to get apples. Not pears! True? Of course!
In Matthew 7:15 -16 Jesus warns us about false prophets. He tells us how to recognize them in verse 16. He says in Matthew 7:15-20 and note my underlines, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
What fruit is Jesus refering to? I submit you that it refers to the characteristics of character and the results that accompany the practice of those character traits. Consider the following scriptures and note the underlines.
John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
John 10:10 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
Galatians 5:19-24 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires

Examining the Ideologies and the Fruit!
Our worldview or the framework by which we view the world is important. Truth matters. Why? Because anything built upon an ideology not based on truth will never survive and it leads to destruction, oppression and human suffering. Any solution you develop never yeild the results you expect. Why? Because the premise was based upon a lie. Therefore the solution will be off.
My worldview, a Christian's worldview, is based upon the Bible. Jesus is called the Way, the Truth and the Life and He said if you know the truth, the truth will make you free. He is also called the Word of God (John 8:32, John 14:6 and John 1:1-14). God designed the world and the Bible is like the operators handbook. It describes how things were designed by the Creator to work and what happens if people try to operate life outside of that design. So let's take look at some of the core ideology they've based their worldview on.
- Feminism - The modern secular view of feminism is in conflict with the Bible's view of family and the role of men and women. Click here for the lists of camps modern feminist might associate with. You will find the descriptors liberal, socialist, Marxist, moderate, post-modern, eco or cultural feminist. Bottom line, all of these views stem from a humanist perspective and or are associated with a political system whose roots are based in atheism.
- Queer - The family orientation and sexual practices associated with a queer lifestyle are contrary to God's design for individuals and families. Here are a few of the scriptures that address this topic along with some other "sins" which are as abominable committed by "straight" people such as fornication, adultery or child sacrifice. Leviticus 18, Leviticus 20:13, Deuteronomy 22:5, Judges 1:7, Judges 20:13, 1 Kings 14:24 and Romans 1:20-32. Here's some of the fruit of the feminist and queer ideology gleaned from What We Believe - Black Lives Matter.
- Fruit of a Worldview Informed by Feminism and LGBTQ.
- Excerpt 1 - "We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure."
- Excerpt 2 - We are guided by the fact that all Black lives matter, regardless of actual or perceived sexual identity, gender identity, gender expression, economic status, ability, disability, religious beliefs or disbeliefs, immigration status, or location.
- Excerpt 3 - We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead.
- Excerpt 4 - We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise).
- West African religion of Ifa - They pray to their ancestors and guiding spirits. Click here. These spirits are demonic. Have you ever read 1 Timothy 4:1 which says, "Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons..."? Here is a modern expression of the demonic in action. We can examine the fruit of the demonic by looking to Satan. Click here for Black Lives Matter, Ifa, Demons and Spiritual Warfare.
- Jesus said in John 8:43-44, and note the underlines for the fruit, "Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it."
- Satan is the father of lies. Do you remember BLM taking up the mantra in the Michael Brown case shouting "Hands up, don't shoot." It turned out, that was a lie. Click here for Washington Post article.
- Jesus said in John 10:9-10, "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
- James 3:13-18 3 says, Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
- Marxism - If you are a self proclaimed Marxists then you've been inspired by and are guided by the principles set forth by Marx and Engles in their work titled "The Communist Manifesto" published in 1848. These two were atheists. Click here for Marx's view on religion.
- What's the fruit of a Marxist ideology? Consider the Communist Chinese Party and their persecution of Christian's and destruction of churches.
- What's some of the fruit of the latest round of BLM protests?
- Deaths - New York Daily reported that by June 3rd up to 13 had been killed. More recent reports up that total to 17 and the numbers continue to rise.
- Protests turn into riots marked by violence and looting. Some cities burned.
- Seattle Washington's protest led to lawlessness as CHAZ/CHOP was established in a former police precinct. During this time business owners were extorted, some were raped, property damage occured such as setting a hospital on fire, and two teens were shot.
- This was lawlessness and 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 says, "The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved."
If you call yourself Christian and you align yourself with this organization then I have to say to you 2 Corinthians 6:14 which says, "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?"
Those are God's words not mine. That's His opinion. If you have a real problem with that then I would say you will definitely have an opportunity to discuss it with Him. You can do it in advance or you can wait. You only have to bear the consequences of your decision for an eternity!
Remember what I said in the last article in this series? Click here. I showed you where Jesus said He had committed all judgment to His word and that we would all give an account for every idle word we speak. He also said we'd all stand before His judgment seat to.
The Fruit and the Root are Consistent
Several articles have compared Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s civil rights movement with BLM (Washington Post or Religion, secularism and Black Lives Matter). Their conclusion. BLM is a secularist expression of civil rights movement. The fruit of a Baptist minister whose worldview was impacted by God's word led transformation and the changing of unjust laws through love and non-violence. He called those who followed them up and he challenged them to maintain a higher standard of character than that being modeled by some who opposed them. That standard was informed by God's word.
But What About Racism?
Racism is an issue Jesus warned us about in Matthew 24:7. Jesus said, "nation shall rise against nation." In the Greek the word translated nation is ethnos. It could be translated Jesus said, "race shall rise against race." It's one of the signs of the endtimes.
Racism is wrong. Laws that promote or encourage racism are wrong. Injustice is wrong. Applying different scales of justice to one race verses another are wrong. Authorities (DOJ, FBI, police, courts...) abusing their power are wrong. The scripture says in Psalms 89:14 that, "Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face."
Did you know that God hates evil? In fact, He says in Psalms 97:10 , "You who love the LORD, hate evil!"
Racism is evil and promoted and encouraged by the demonic. Satan loves it. Satan's children love it.
How Can Satan Cast Out Satan?
How can an organization founded on ideologies inspired by Satan cast racism out of a society? It won't! Jesus said in Mark 3:23-27 "So He called them to Himself and said to them in parables: "How can Satan cast out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but has an end. "
Satan's goal is destruction and oppression.
This is why BLM has allied itself with the Democrat Party. Click here to see the alignment of the Democrat Party platform with a demonic agenda. The Republican Party was founded by abolitionists who produced President Lincoln. These abolitionists were typcially Christian. They set the slaves free and gave them right to vote. Later the Republican Party gave women the right to vote. The KKK became an ally of the Democrat Party and perscuted not only former slaves but those who also helped them. The Democrat Party was the author of the Jim Crow laws. Yet, BLM has allied themselves with those whose historically were their oppressors. They are still deceiving and oppressing black people and I marvel at the blindness.
One of Satan's strategies is deception. The best deceptions have some truth. The more truth the easier it is to deceive. My point is that a just cause has been hijacked by evil and or decieved people or organizations.
Satan will not cast out Satan. There are many on the Left who keep racism alive and stoking the fires of bitterness, anger, unforgiveness and hatred. Some of those that do this are supposed to be Christian ministers. Stirring up unforgiveness and picking at a root of bitterness is evil. But why would some reverends do that? Because it is financially beneficial to themselves and other allies like the Democrat Party (they've been using the riots for campaign fund raising). It's a useful tool to promote a political ideology like socialism which is like a gateway drug to communism or Marxism.
If you call yourself Christian, then you have got to consider who you align yourself with. Why? It is because you and I will both one day give an account of how we stewarded our lives before the Creator of the universe. If you are Christian and you want some good counsel on how to engage the issue of racism in America then I recommend consulting with leaders like Dr. Alveda King. Click here. She's the neice of Dr. Martin Luther
