In Psalm 2:6 it says that God set His king, His Son on Zion. Zion is the place of 24/7 prayer, praise and worship. The scripture goes on to say He is to ask for the nations for His inheritance and that He "break them with a rod of iron" in verse 9.
In Isaiah 14 we find a description of the fall of the King of Babylon. When Babylon is defeated it gives people rest from sorrow, fear, hard bondage and service. Babylon is a type of the worldly system. How Babylon is defeated is revealed in verse 5 where it says "The Lord has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of rulers..."
The Hebrew word translated rod and scepter is fascinating. According to Strongs Concordance h7626 it means "a stick (for punishing, writing, ruling), a clan, correction, dart, rod, scepter, staff and tribe. It is used 190 times in the Bible and 140 of those times is translated...... TRIBE! That's used 75% of the time. We could say:
- Isaiah 11:4..."He shall strike the earth with the tribe of His mouth..."
- Psalm 2:9..."break them with a tribe of iron..."
God's ruler's staff, His scepter is the tribe who chooses to lend their lips to God's word. They give voice to God's word on earth as it is in heaven.
Our spiritual war comes from a heavenly war that spilled out onto the earth. It's described in Revelation 12 where Satan goes to make war with the remnant of God's people. This heavenly war is played out through God's people and everyone else who chooses any way other than God's way.
It's a war; a spiritual war! It's a war over truth and we know that Jesus' name is "The Word of God" (Rev. 19:11). He is also called the way, the truth and the life. Satan on the other hand is a deceiver and a liar according to John 8.
In 2nd Corinthians 10:3 -5 it speaks of this warfare and we discover that it is a war which requires the pulling down of strongholds. This is done by "casting down arguments.... and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." It is systems of thought. Satan hates and attacks the Truth.
How does Satan do that? He needs people to lend their lips to him, just like God needs people to lend their lips to Him. It is through people that words are released.
Ephesians 6:10-18 describes our spiritual weapons. The only offensive weapons we have is a spiritual sword. Hebrews 4:12 says:
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The word of God is the key. The question is, how can we increase the power? It is through the principle of mass also called the "power of agreement." It's found in Deuteronomy 32:30, Leviticus 26:8 and Matthew 18:19.
These scriptures describe the exponential power of agreement. We find one puts a thousand to flight and two puts ten thousand to flight, or five will chase one hundred and a hundred will chase ten thousand.
Every person we can add, every voice we add to a prayer exponentially increases the power that we can release.
Now remember, that rod can properly be translated "tribe." The Church is described as Christ's body. Psalm 2 describes how our Lord set the King, His Son, in Zion and He ruled with a "tribe of iron."
King David penned Psalm 2. He also wrote Psalm 68 where we discover that God's enemies flee and the mountains melt like wax in God's presence. In verse 11 he says, and this my friends is key in the 1Church1Day strategy:
Psalm 68:11
The Lord gave the word;
Great was the company of those who proclaimed it:

The tribe, God's people, need to hear what the word of the Lord is, and then, proclaim His word.
In this way, God's people become His rod when they lend their lips to Him. They choose to declare decrees and proclaim God's word. This is how God's rod is employed on the earth today.
1Church1Day is Designed to Help Leaders Do the Word
This strategic communication system includes a Leadeship Dashboard (ie. a strategic command center) where all of the intel is gathered and shared with leaders. They can seek the Lord asking Him what He wants His Church to pray and do. This is where the decrees and prayer alerts come from.
The rod of God is built and increased through each one who adds the voice to a decree or prayer alert. That's what the 1Church1Day app empowers you to do. You can play an important role in establishing God's will on earth by lending your lips to Him.
The strategic communication system can be customized to serve leaders in any network, church, organization, city, region etc. It empowers them to build our Father's house of prayer, invite God's abiding presence which in Psalm 68:2 says causes mountains to melt and then they can direct the rod of God to address issues in any sphere in their community, region or network.
Our system is designed to help the Church increase the power it has to project in order to enforce the will of King Jesus.
