Due to the war, 40 members of John Marks family have been made refugees. We are trying to help by raising $2700 in January and we would like to be able to assist with $1500 per month until the war ends. |
The OrphanageDue to the war and the persecution of Christians we've changed pictures and names. Today there are 20 and now 40 family members have joined them because the bombing of the village and or prayer center made thousands refugees.
In 2006 John Mark began working with us through Operation Rolling Thunder (1Church1Day) to mobilize prayer in Chin state. It led to the launch of MT Horeb Prayer Center with 7 denominations working together in 2010. We visited them in 2013 and 2019. As they prayed, they were led to show God's love to orphans. This led to the launch of:
Axxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxb, a Christian faith-based ministry in Myanmar that was established on May 20, 2016. This ministry creates a place of rehabilitation for children and teenagers from various backgrounds like orphans, unwanted children, street children, and poor children. We are partnering with them to help provide food as well as some other basic necessities like school supplies, clothing, and bedding. Click here for their Facebook page. |
